It all began when he was at the wee age of 2. One of his older sisters bought him a small kiddie pool so he could splash around on hot summer days and just generally have a good time. It was all going well and spiffy until a phone rang in the huge mansion. She went to answer it and wasn't seen for the next 5 hours. It soon got dark and chilly, but Chibi-Quatre was still in the pool. Finally, his sister came and got him. But by that time, the Chibi-Arabian was more wrinkly than a prune. Later, it was found out that her boyfriend called.

Later, at age 3, he almost drowned. Now, this wasn't his sisters fault, 'this' time. Chibi-Quatre was walking along the edge of one of the many grown-up pools, minding his own business, when he slipped on a puddle of water. As luck would have it, he fell in the deep end. Sinking like the Titanic.

At age 5, his otousan figured swimming lessons would be a good, if not healthy, idea. He even got his son those lil butterfly thingies you stick on your arms to keep you above the water. Everything was going as well as was expected. That is, until Chibi-Quatre went swimming near the deep end, accompanied by a large inflatable crocodile. Suddenly, the crocodile began to deflate, and the Chibi went to the bottom...again.

At age 7, poor Chibi-Quatre was now wise in the art of swimming and not...sinking. So, with some of his older sisters, he went to play in the pool. It was all going wonderfully. It really was! He didn't drown even once! Of course, you and I both know that nothing ever goes as smoothly as we want. Thats why when he got out of the pool he was covered head to toe in large red dots. It seems that Chibi-Quatre wasn't used to such a high level of chlorine. Go figure.

As he reached the age of 10, Chibi-Quatre promised himself that he would never go near another pool ever again as long as he lived. Sadly, when walking near the waterish chamber of torture, pain, and other bad things, one of his sisters pushed him in. He ended up whacking his head against the side of the pool with a large, satisfying 'Thud'.

At age 13, some of his friends begged him to swim with them. After what seemed like hours of pleading and feet kissing, he reluctantly agreed. He was swimming along happily when he let his guard down for just a fraction of a second. A cramp seized his leg and he once again sank like a ton of blond bricks.

Now, at age 15, Quatre could finally relax. Since there was a war going on, there was no time to play in the waterish chamber of torture, pain, and other bad things. Hell, there was practically no time to take a shower, let alone go swimming! Besides, even if there still were some pools around, there certainly weren't any anymore, he and Sandrock's fire power made sure of that! Well, there was a pool in one of his mansions, but only because his sisters occasionally felt like taking a swim. Damn his sisters. Damn them all. All 31 of 'em. Anyway, Quatre was in the huge library with 3 of his fellow pilots when Duo ran in, clad only in boxers.

"Q-man! I never knew you had a pool! Lets go swimming!!"

Quatre turned pale. Then felt faint when the others agreed and went to change. Life sucked.

So, thats why he was standing by the damn waterish chamber of torture, pain, and other bad things, staring at the wiggling water with uneasiness and distrust. Again. When Trowa innocently asked if he would like to join them, that proved to be the last straw for the already emotionally strained Arabian. He snapped. A familiar Zero-ish glint showed up his blue eyes.

"Quatre?" Trowa asked, concerned, and slightly freaked out. The blond suddenly dashed into the mansion, the sound of many priceless things breaking accompanied by his screams.
