Tired of those lame icons that AOL gives you for its instant messaging service? Good! Now you can use the icons I made instead ^_~
If you don't know how to equip them as your AIM icon, you can use the tutorial at the bottom of this page.
If you have a website, please ~[contact me]~ before using any of these icons on your site. Thanks ^^

How to Equip AIM Icons.
This tutorial is based on my operating system which is Windows XP Professional. It should work with all Windows based systems, but I have no idea about MAC OS...
- The first thing you need to do is save the AIM icon you want to somewhere that you can find easily, like the "My Documents" folder.
- Next, start AIM.
- Right click on the icon (the yellow man running in front of a blue circle) in the taskbar (the bottom right corner of the screen usually) and choose "Preferences" from the menu that pops up.
- Now you should see a window with a list of items on the left-hand side. From that list, choose "Buddy Icons". The window should display a list of your buddies (top left), a bunch of AOL sponsored icons (right side), and a view of your AIM icon (bottom left). Click on the button called "Browse PC" to find and choose the AIM icon(s) that you saved earlier.
- When you find the icon you want, click it once and choose OK. Once you choose an icon, it will display to the left of the "Browse PC" button.
And that's it!
